NJ baby vanished nearly 40 years ago. Here's what she could look like today – NBC Philadelphia

In an effort to solve a decades-old missing child case, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children released an age progression photo of Melissa McGuinn, who vanished from Trenton, New Jersey, when she was an infant.
Melissa was only 7 months old when she went missing. She was last seen on March 6, 1988, with a woman who was living with her parents, officials said.

The woman had given conflicting reports about what happened to Melissa that day. And despite an extensive search and investigation, officials said Melissa has not been seen ever since.
The National Center has shared a brand-new age progression image created by a forensic artist showing what Melissa could look like today at the age of 37.
Becky House, Melissa’s mother, has never stopped searching for her, and despite the passing of over three decades, she believes that Melissa is still out there.
“Over the last 37 years, there’s never been a day when I haven’t hoped and prayed that you would come home,” House shared in a news release. “There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t wonder where you are or what you’re like, if you’re safe, if you’re happy…I just want you to know that I fight for you every single day and that you have a big family here that can’t wait to meet you. We’ll never give up hope that you’re going to come home to us.”
Officials said when Melissa was last seen, she was wearing white flowered quilted overalls, a dark pink hooded sweater, and pink socks. She has blue eyes and at the time of her disappearance, she had blonde hair.
House added, “Every day I hope that if anyone out there knows any kind of information, that they will call and let us know. Nothing is too small. If you know anything, please call someone. We will do whatever it takes to bring Melissa home.”

‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Alum Welcomes 1st Child: ‘Hearts Are SO Full!’ – EntertainmentNow

A two-time “Bachelor in Paradise” alum and former “The Bachelor” contestant has just welcomed her first child. Kendall Long shared the news a few days after the newborn’s arrival.
A post shared by Kendall Long (@itskendalllong)
On March 5, Long shared a few details about the baby’s arrival in an Instagram Story. The photo showed the newborn wrapped in a blanket in the hospital bassinet. Long covered the baby’s face with a white heart and the heart also covered the card that would have given away details of the baby’s arrival.
“Hearts are SO full! Just enjoying our first few days as a family with the new BABE! Will share more soon,” Long wrote.
A post shared by Kendall Long (@itskendalllong)
Long first revealed her pregnancy in September 2024. She posted a quartet of photos on her Instagram page and wrote, “We have had quite the escapade these past few years but our most exciting adventure is yet to come.”
She added, “Baby Sagely due February 2025!!”
The photos showed Long wearing a bikini, while Sagely wore swim trunks. The pictures were taken on the beach in Lisbon, Portugal, and Long sported a small baby bump. The pair held up ultrasound photos during the photo shoot.
A post shared by Kendall Long (@itskendalllong)
Long first appeared on season 22 of “The Bachelor” with Arie Luyendyk, Jr. She received a hometown date, and was eliminated during the overnight Fantasy Suite dates.
She joined season 5 of “Bachelor in Paradise,” and fell for “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile. The two were never engaged, but they were together throughout his run on “Dancing with the Stars” and for some time after.
Amabile and Long announced their split in January 2020, and he later joined season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise” where he met Serena Pitt. Amabile and Pitt are now married. Long briefly appeared on that season of “Bachelor in Paradise,” but she ultimately found love off screen with Sagely.
Long and Sagely announced their engagement in November 2022. She surprised fans by revealing via Instagram in August 2024 that the couple secretly got married while living abroad.
The couple quietly wed in Santa Barbara, California, days before moving to Germany. Long wrote, “So far our married life has been an unforgettable adventure together!” She added, “It’s truly bonkers to me that we’ve already been married for nearly two years!”
In October 2024, Long and Sagely revealed they were moving back to the United States. She wrote, “As we enter into this next exciting chapter of our lives we couldn’t imagine raising our child without the love and support of our family!”
The couple chose not to find out their baby’s gender ahead of the delivery. Fans will be eager to see a full photo and learn the baby’s gender and name once Long and Sagely are ready to reveal all the details.

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — After a year-long investigation, deputies have arrested two parents in a child abuse case involving an infant, Sheriff Danny H. Rogers announced.
On January 23, 2024, Guilford County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) deputies were called to a local hospital after reports of a possible child abuse case. When they arrived, hospital staff told them a 5-month-old baby had suffered physical injuries.
After months of investigating, authorities obtained arrest warrants in November 2024 for the child’s parents, 21-year-old Zowie Knight and 22-year-old Daniel Martin, charging them with Felony Child Abuse.
Deputies arrested the child’s father, Martin, on January 23, 2025, with help from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office. On March 3, 2025, Guilford County deputies took Knight, the mother, into custody.
Officials in Guilford and Rowan counties said both parents bonded out of jail.
Because the victim is a juvenile, authorities are not releasing additional details about the case.
