Originally launched as Tree City Diapers by University of Michigan graduate Molly Ging, the store opened its retail location in 2006, according to its website. The Little Seedling moved to its 2465 W. Stadium Boulevard, Ann Arbor, store in 2022.

Those looking to swap their children’s too-small clothes for a size up – or simply clear out some closet space – can swap and shop at the Ann Arbor District Library’s upcoming event. Drop off gently used children’s supplies at any library branch until April 30, then join the swap from 11 a.m. to noon on May 18.
